The ARGE 16.7 Hz, consisting of the companies Kummler Matter AG and Balfour Beatty GmbH, have chosen the OVHWizard system for measuring the correct position of the contact wire in the new Gotthard base tunnel.
For this the non-contact OVHWizard contact wire measuring system was installed on a measuring vehicle, optimised for measurement in the tunnel and equipped with a camera for additional documentation of the measurement.
The first approximately 14 km of contact wire installed have already been measured and the position corrected based on the results achieved.
